I started taking photographs when I was a little kid with a basic 16mm camera. In high school, I upgraded to a Ricoh 35mm camera, my first "real" camera. I later purchased some used darkroom equipment from a local private school and turned my damp and spooky basement into my own darkroom. My camera was stolen from my office in 1996 (I was photographing the progress of an office we were building) after which I made the jump to digital. Photography is about perspective, seeing something new or different in the mundane. It should inspire you to a greater emotion about the subject. I hope I have done that for you. Enjoy.
